Australian Nutgrower

Australian Nutgrower is the journal of the Australian Nut Industry Council Ltd. (ANIC) which represents the seven nut tree industries in Australia. It is published quarterly in March, June, September and December and has a full colour cover and 52 pages of nut industry news, research summaries, interviews, updates from overseas research and advertising.

WHO READS AUSTRALIA NUTGROWER?
Australian Nut Industry Council represents the following nut industries:

· Almond Board of Australia.,
· Australian Pecan Growers Association Inc.,
· Australian Macadamia Society Ltd.,
· Australian Walnut Industry Association Inc.,
· Chestnut Growers of Australia Ltd.,
· Hazelnut Growers of Australia Ltd. and
· Pistachio Growers Association of Australia Inc.
 
Members of these associations subscribe to Australian Nutgrower and total almost 1000.

The majority are nut growers, but nut processors, wholesalers, food manufacturers, nut tree nurseries and research workers are also represented.  They want to know about products and services that can help them grow better nuts, process nuts more efficiently, and protect their crop from pests and diseases.

The Australian nut industry is a growing industry with new, more intensely planted orchards going in each year.  Consequently the role of the nut industry journal is becoming more important.  Growers and processors alike need to be informed about the latest technology and industry trends.  They also need to be informed about the latest products and services available.

SEASONAL FEATURES
As well as a range of research summaries, in each issue we feature a seasonal topic such as disease control, pruning, grading etc. to keep subscribers up to date with the latest techniques and inform them of available products and services. This gives manufacturers and suppliers a chance to advertise products relevant to the topic.
