Australian Nut Conference
27-29 March 2017 | Pullman Melbourne Albert Park,
65 Queens Road, Albert Park 3004 Vic.
If you are involved or want to be involved in the Australian Nut Industry, then you can’t afford to miss the industry's premiere information and networking event, the Australian Nut Conference. The Australian Nut Conference (ANC) is held every two years and is aimed at the supply chain across the commercial nut industries in Australia. The next Conference is set down for March 2017.
The ANC brings together people with an interest in the Australian tree nut industry and associated supply chains to learn about production forecasts, new initiatives and emerging domestic and international growth trends. It provides an ideal opportunity to gain direct contact with key nut industry stakeholders. No other event draws together the entire nut sector across the supply chain. It brings together over 200 domestic and international industry stakeholders.
Dave Hughes – Dinner speaker
David "Hughesy" Hughes is an Australian stand-up comedian, and a radio and television presenter known for his larrikin personality, drawling Australian accent, and deadpan comedic delivery.
Hughesy performed his first stand up comedy gig 25 years ago as a 22 year old. He is a regular at shows such as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide and Perth Fringe Festivals, and Brisbane and Canberra Comedy Festivals.
Many will know him from his 12 years of drive time radio with Nova and his TV career, which began in 2007 on Rove. In 2009 he began co-hosting the Channel 10 show The 7PM Project. In June 2011, Hughes was one of the few people to be granted a one-on-one interview with the Dalai Lama during his visit to Australia.
In December 2013, Hughes resigned from his full-time position on The Project to return to stand-up comedy, appearing weekly on the show from wherever he was around the country. He reappeared back on screen last year as the new host of Australia's Got Talent.
An exciting program has been developed for ANC 2017. Read program here.

A diverse range of stakeholders attend the ANC, including: growers, processors, marketers, trade representatives, brand and category managers, quality assurance managers, product development managers, industry bodies (domestic and international), investors, suppliers, researchers, manufacturers, and equipment distributors.
The ANC gives you direct access to the people who own and run globally competitive nut businesses, develop products and markets and produce leading technology to support the industry’s growth.
